lKevin works as an in-house video content consultant (find the perfect title and then market the shit out of it on every platform possible) for small to medium-sized businesses (link) to help businesses maximize their digital reach with the smallest team necessary (link) by focusing on providing the most important skills (link), resources (resources), and training to new-hires and old hats alike. (color, gear,etc- click link to blog post that states in more detail)/ started off working with his family's small manufacturing business (link) and brought it from digital obscurity to the market leader through consistent video creation and inbound marketing, resulting in tens of millions of views and a new international customer base. After departing and working with larger organizations (link), wanted to combine the nimbleness of a small business with the knowledge of big biz in the video marketing space. Consistency and focus on a few critical areas (link: storytelling, minimum tech, color, audience identification, effective reach and monitor-- all things that I do with cumulus) are more important to develop than hiring out a huge team. Save that for the big campaigns (link). But you still need a foundation compelling content that can update over time. Don't waste time trying to post every day. Focus on creating library of videos that emphasize the foundation and differentiating factors, then make consistent (but not crazy) updates over time that re-enforce the foundation and adapt it to the current environment and needs. Teach workshops and one-on-one specific consulting.
link the shit out of every topic here as I write blog posts that all link back to this page. This is my manifesto. Seo the crap out of this page, pushing my new title. This is the value and education I'll add for them to inspire trust, so that they go to cumulus for the big projects. My strength is writing. so I'll create that essential foundation of video and then write my way to success, instead of constantly making new video content. This site will be my inbound machine for cumulus, not the actual cumulus site. This way, it's all linked to me, but the biz can be its own entity,. Because it's writing, linkedin and facebook will be my platforms. I'll use instagram for visual verification for cumulus and as self-promo for what I'm up to personally. Capture e-mail for the contacts and to send out blog posts, as written. I'm a creator, educator, and mentor. After establishing the service and authority, I can create products to help and sell them on Cumulus. Unless making a killer video, focus just on the writing. Don't waste time creatiging infographics and shit. Just hone in and blast it. If the value is there, people will read. I'm targetting business owners, readers, ambitious people. They'll go for it. Then test both, once I have it up and running.
